Who is behind
“Writer’s Mindset”?
Hi, I’m Emily (Emy for friends 😊),
I’m an author and mindset coach specializing in writer’s block and procrastination.
I genuinely believe that everybody deserves the opportunity to share the story or message they carry in their heart.
That is why I decided to specialize in mindset coaching for writers. It hurts me to see so many people giving up on their dream of publishing a book because they couldn’t move past the internal struggles that keep them stuck.
So I want to do everything I can to help them start writing with more confidence, less self-sabotage, and more consistency 😊

Who am I?
I’m a Belgian author based in Brussels. I’m 40 years old, and I live half the time with my partner in the city center, enjoying vibrant urban life. But I also spend half of the week in a greener area, in my little studio, which acts as a cocoon when I need some me time to recharge, self-reflect, and, of course, write 😊
I self-published my first novel a little while ago. It’s called L’oubliée du lac (yes, it’s in French 😊) and it’s under my pen name, Emily Nols. Now I’m working on the second one, as well as a nonfiction book.

My values are simple: passion, freedom, meaningful work, kindness, respect, sharing, and authenticity.
No fake “perfect writer” image here. No pretending I have everything figured out.
Just honest conversations, deep mindset work, and support for writers who are tired of getting stuck in their own heads every time they try to write 😊
A few random facts about me 😁
📖 I self-published my first novel on the day I turned 35.

🥶 I am always cold and emotionally attached to my heated blanket 😅
🤭 My two fully acknowledged weaknesses are laziness and food (two major strengths, actually! They just have a bad reputation!)
And yes… I probably use too many emojis when I write 😅
